Treating one crash as one claim, and lodging only one scheme
A crash while driving for work is, on its face, a single event — it is not obvious that it can trigger two separate statutory schemes at once.
Lodging only a workers' compensation claim, or only a CTP claim, can leave entitlements under the other scheme unclaimed, and each scheme's own deadline keeps running regardless.
At the free case assessment we check whether both schemes are engaged, not just the more obvious one, before anything is lodged.
